“Gustavus gave me excellent scientific preparation for success in graduate school – equal or superior to colleagues’ preparation from other institutions, including top/ivy league universities. Importantly, Gustavus enabled a robust liberal arts perspective and context in which to couch my career in science – how to understand its significance in history and society and how to communicate that significance to others.”
